Mysten-linked credentials paper accepted at ASIACRYPT 2026

"Multi-Verifier Keyed-Verification Anonymous Credentials," by Jan Bobolz, Emad Heydari Beni, Anja Lehmann, Omid Mirzamohammadi, Cavit Özbay and Mahdi Sedaghat, has been accepted at ASIACRYPT 2026, one of the International Association for Cryptologic Research's three flagship conferences, the Hasso Plattner Institute's identity-management group said.

Keyed-verification anonymous credentials let users prove attributes without revealing their identity and work without pairings, a costly operation that has slowed real-world adoption, but they normally require the issuer and verifier to be the same party. The paper extends the scheme to multiple verifiers, each sharing a separate key with the issuer, so a compromised verifier does not weaken security at the others, and issuance hides which verifier a credential is for. The authors give a provably secure, pairing-free construction with implementation benchmarks.

Mysten Labs co-founder and chief cryptographer Kostas Chalkias highlighted the work on October 17, crediting researchers from Nokia Bell Labs, Mysten Labs and Sui together with university collaborators. The paper has been on the IACR ePrint archive since November 2025.

CONSO opens an impressions path to a CONSO BOT

CONSO said users who are not eligible for a CONSO BOT can now earn one through impressions on high-quality, organic content. CONSO did not publish thresholds or a scoring method. The 5,555-supply free mint's claim window opens October 22 at 5 p.m. PT (00:00 UTC October 23), as SuiWire reported.
