CoinGecko listed SUI at $0.961, down 1.0% over 24 hours.
DefiLlama data shows total value locked on Sui at about $493.3 million, down about 3.6% from about $511.5 million a day earlier. Decentralized exchange volume on Sui came to about $18.7 million on October 23, down about 18% from about $23.0 million the previous day. Mysten Labs researchers release a faster Bulletproofs++ implementation
Kostas Chalkias, Mysten Labs co-founder and chief cryptographer, said Sui's research team has implemented Bulletproofs++, a zero-knowledge range-proof scheme, in Rust. He said the implementation delivers up to 7.8 times faster proving, 4.5 times faster verification and proofs 24% to 38% smaller, and that he believes it is the fastest implementation of the scheme available.
Chalkias said the team added several optimizations, including lazy base folding in the norm linear argument, caching of the common reference string and faster multi-scalar multiplication during verification. He said the team also proved its construction secure and corrected a few issues in the original paper. For confidential transfers on Sui, he said, the work could allow roughly four times as many private transfers to be batched for the same gas cost while reducing validator bandwidth.
The code is open source in Mysten Labs' fastcrypto library on GitHub. Chalkias said a fuller write-up of the improvements and corrections will follow on the IACR's ePrint archive, and credited Philipp Jovanovic and Arnab Roy.
NAVI opens an isolated eEARN/USDC market
NAVI Protocol opened an isolated eEARN/USDC market, letting users supply eEARN, the token for Ember's curated USDC yield vault, as collateral and borrow USDC against it. NAVI said $2 million in USDC is available to borrow from launch.
Aftermath adds Litecoin perpetuals with up to 10x leverage
Aftermath, the Sui-based trading platform, said traders can now go long or short Litecoin (LTC) with up to 10x leverage, in a market it lists as litecoin:native.
CONSO posts CONSO BOTS raffle results
CONSO said raffle results for the second and third phases of its CONSO BOTS mint, which opened on October 22, are now available, letting participants check their allocations. CONSO said extreme demand at launch caused the X API to crash, which disrupted the claim process.
