Mysten Labs releases Sui mainnet-v1.83.1 with protocol version 141
Mysten Labs published the mainnet-v1.83.1 release of Sui, which carries protocol version 141. According to the release notes, references returned from Move functions can now be used in programmable transaction blocks (PTBs), and Move gains bulk vector operations: replace_range, keep_range, copy_range, remove_range and truncate. Protocol version 141 also limits a transaction to 1,024 accumulator events.
For node operators, validators now cap the user transaction bytes they propose to consensus, with a default of two full blocks per second; the limit can be adjusted or turned off in the node configuration.
