Cetus Releases 'Skills' That Let AI Agents Swap and Manage Liquidity on Sui
Cetus Skills is an open GitHub repository of Claude Code skills covering Cetus's swap aggregator and its CLMM and DLMM liquidity pools, with unsigned transactions that a wallet must sign.
Cetus Protocol has released Cetus Skills, an open repository that lets AI coding agents work with its swap and liquidity infrastructure on Sui. The toolkit is a set of Claude Code skills hosted on GitHub. Cetus announced it on X on October 21 (UTC) and linked the repository, and Sui's official account included it in its October 23 weekly recap.
What is in it
The repository holds three skill packs:
- Aggregator. Covers Cetus's router API. An agent can request the best swap route across multiple DEX providers and then build the swap transaction.
- CLMM. Covers Cetus's concentrated-liquidity pools: creating pools, managing positions, adding and removing liquidity, swapping and flash loans.
- DLMM. Covers Cetus's bin-based liquidity pools, including pool creation, positions using the Spot, Curve and BidAsk strategies, and swaps.
Each pack has a SKILL.md file written for agents, a README for people, and detailed references with code examples. The CLMM and DLMM skills rely on Cetus's TypeScript SDKs. Cetus's install instructions use a single command, npx skills add CetusProtocol/cetus-skills.
Guardrails
The aggregator flow ends with unsigned transaction bytes, which must be signed in the user's wallet before anything is submitted to Sui. The repository's guidance says to build the swap transaction only after the user confirms. The swap skill also tells agents to default to 0.5% slippage, to warn users about the risk of loosening it, and to reject any value above 50%. The repository describes itself as provided as-is for use with Claude Code.
The wider push
Cetus said a wider AI-native network is starting to form across Sui, with projects connecting to its infrastructure, including agent-ready wallet adapters, intent-based interfaces, AI strategies and data analytics. In a follow-up post, it gave a shoutout to the builders t2000ai, Loqua, Sup Wallet and WaaP, among others, for contributing to AI adoption and the agent economy on Sui.
The release fits a theme that has run through Sui's announcements this month, from Alibaba Cloud's planned integration with Sui Agent Payments to Mysten Labs' Verifiable Agent Arbiter with Google Cloud. Those projects focus on payments and proof. Cetus Skills is narrower: it gives agents documented access to a working DEX.
SuiWire could not find usage figures for Cetus Skills. How many agents actually trade through it, and with what safeguards, is the open question.
